When it comes to denim garments, we always associate them with distinctive appearance and stylish look. Nevertheless, conventional denim has inherent drawbacks. Raw denim grey fabric contains sizing agents and surface loose fibres. Untreated denim garments feel stiff, offer poor wearing comfort and tend to cause skin abrasion. Conventional denim washing mainly relies on pumice stones. However, the pumice stone washing process easily damages denim. Moreover, washed denim garments are prone to stiffness and deformation, greatly shortening their service life.
