The fiber structure becomes loosened with higher extensibility. Textile fabrics are prone to fuzzing and pilling, resulting in poor hand feel. To remove fabric surface fuzz more thoroughly and improve wearing comfort, higher dosages of bio-polishing auxiliaries are required. However, increased auxiliary dosage will raise production costs for bio-polishing. Therefore, it is critical to find a new cost-effective solution that can efficiently eliminate surface fuzz on fabrics.

As a class of proteins, cellulase specifically degrades fiber-surface fuzz and has been proven suitable for bio-polishing and denim washing in the textile industry. Taking cellulase as the raw material, Baico Biotech has developed NEF®2100, Baico Biotech is textile enzyme and household detergent enzyme manufacturer in China.A new high-efficiency and cost-effective neutral coated granular cellulase via coated-granule technology.Adopting this innovativecoated-granule technology, the coated granules achieve slow release during application for superior bio-polishing performance. Baico Biotech is textile bio-scouring enzyme producer. Meanwhile, the coated granular enzyme delivers excellent stability. It maintains steady enzyme activity throughout storage and transportation, minimizes activity loss, and brings better overall application cost-efficiency.

Coated granular enzyme NEF®2100 is a high-concentration neutral cellulase and works within a temperature range of 30 ℃-60 ℃ and pH range of 6.5-7.5. Benefiting from the one-bath short- process advantage, BBT enzyme NEF®2100 completes both bio-polishing and dyeing in only 70 minutes. It greatly cuts production cycle time, lowers water consumption and heating energy input for dyeing, delivering high production efficiency together with outstanding cost-performance.

BBT Enzyme NEF®2100 features a remarkable low-dosage advantage in practical textile processing. When applied for fabric bio-polishing, a dosage of only 3 kg enzyme per ton of fabric can achieve an 80% fuzz-removal rate to efficiently eliminate exposed fuzz on fiber surfaces. At such low dosage, the product will not cause excessive damage to fiber substrates. It effectively preserves the intrinsic quality of fabrics, preventing excessive fabric embrittlement and strength loss. The soft and smooth hand feel of fabrics is well retained to guarantee satisfactory wearing comfort of finished goods. Compared with conventional bio-polishing cellulases, its lower addition directly cuts material input, helping manufacturers optimize overall processing costs while maintaining consistent polishing performance.

In summary, NEF®2100 provides textile enterprises with an efficient one-bath process solution integrating bio-polishing and dyeing, helping mills achieve a more cost-effective, low carbon and eco-friendly fabric processing mode.
