Baico Biotech BBTspecializes in the research, and production of textile enzymes, including cellulase, amylase, catalase, pectinase, and bio-scouring enzyme . Bio‑scouring enzyme series include: RF838‑K, RF838‑K(D), RF838‑W, RF838‑W(D), and RF. These enzymes are precisely classified according to fabric type and application scenarios: the K‑series is mainly used for pre-treatment of knitted fabrics and towels before dyeing; the W‑series is applied to towel and woven fabrics; and the RF product is specifically designed for pre-treatment of fabrics that require light‑shade dyeing.

For the dyeing pre-treatment of knitted fabrics, the process is divided into two routes based on shade depth.

For deep‑shade dyeing: BBT bio-scouring enzyme RF838‑K(D) enables a one‑bath process combining scouring and Bio‑polishing. It is important to note that after scouring at 55 °C, the bath must not be drained; instead, the temperature should be raised to 95 °C for aboiling‑off step to effectively remove plant waxes, after which dyeing can proceed without bleaching. This process not improves the absorbency of the fabric but shortens the overall workflow and saves energy.

For light‑shade dyeing: Since higher whiteness is required, the bleaching step cannot be omitted. Therefore, BBT Bio‑scouring enzyme RF is recommended. Under the same temperature, time, and hydrogen peroxide dosage as conventional processes, RF significantly reduces caustic soda consumption while still achieving the required whiteness. The reduction in caustic soda not avoids alkaline damage to fabric fibres and lowers weight loss, but effectively reduces the burden on the mill's wastewater treatment system.

For the dyeing pre-treatment of towel and woven fabrics, the same distinction between deep and light shades applies.

For deep‑shade dyeing: BBT Bio‑scouring enzyme RF838‑W(D) is used to accomplish desizing, scouring, and Bio‑polishing in a single bath. Similar to BBT Bio‑scouring enzyme RF838‑K(D), the bath should not be drained after scouring; after further boiling‑off at95 °C, dyeing can be carried out directly.

For light‑shade dyeing: Bio‑scouring enzyme RF is also used for scouring to lower caustic soda consumption and lower alkaline bleaching to ensure whiteness. If higher desizing performance is required, amylase can be combined with BBT Bio‑scouring enzyme RF838‑K to enhance the effect.

Proper use of these Bio‑scouring enzymes can simplify the process flow, reduce energy and water consumption, protect fibre quality, and lower overall costs. This approach not offers a practical pathway for textile mills to improve quality and efficiency, but represents an inevitable choice for embracing green manufacturing and promoting sustainable development in the textile industry.
