Calculation of Enzyme Activity through Determination of Product Content Generated from Cellulase-Substrate Reaction

    2026-09-28

When cellulase activity is assayed by the CMC-Na method, CMC-Na is hydrolyzed into reducing sugars, whose content represents enzyme activity. Fehling’s reagent is only suitable for qualitative analysis, while DNS reagent enables quantitative measurement of reducing sugars. After boiling reaction, DNS turns into brownish-red product, and absorbance is detected at 540 nm for enzyme activity calculation. Baico Biotech BBT Enzymes prepared DNS reagent following standards, constructed glucose calibration curve and established corresponding regression equation.

Green Biological Peroxide Removal by BBT Textile Enyzme CATANA® CA300G

    2026-09-25

This paper discusses the problem that hydrogen peroxide residue after bleaching damages reactive dyes and causes fabric mottling. Catalase specifically decomposes residual hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen. BBT Enzymes’ coated granular catalase CATANA®CA300G features high concentration and good stability. Under pH 6.0–7.5, it removes peroxide in merely 10 minutes after bio-scouring. Working under mild conditions without harming fiber strength, it avoids dye defects and upgrades cotton fabric dyeing quality.

Bio-Scouring Enzyme RF838-K: Eliminating Shade Variation and Color Difference in Yarn Dyeing

    2026-09-24

This abstract introduces yarn dyeing challenges in Pakistan’s textile hub Faisalabad, mainly uneven dyeing caused by insufficient removal of yarn natural impurities. BBT Enzymes’ RF838-K bio-scouring enzyme works under mild conditions to decompose pectin and wax. It streamlines pretreatment, boosts yarn absorbency and whiteness, delivers uniform dyeing with less color variation. As a Chinese enzyme supplier, BBT helps local mills lift product quality and pursue sustainable textile production.

Cellulase is a core green textile auxiliary for bio-polishing and denim abrasion. Its activity directly affects fabric finishing quality: inadequate activity leads to poor fuzz removal, while excessive activity damages fibers. Stable enzyme activity requires accurate testing. QB/T 2583-2023 specifies filter paper and CMC-Na methods. Baico Biotech BBT adopts the CMC-Na method. Using water-soluble CMC-Na as substrate, the assay controls reaction parameters to produce reducing sugars, whose concentration quantifies cellulase catalytic activity.

BBT Textile Enzyme Specialized Deoxygenation Coated Granular Catalase with Excellent Stability and High Efficiency

    2026-09-22

Hydrogen peroxide residue after textile bleaching impairs dyeing quality. Catalase can decompose residual hydrogen peroxide, yet conventional liquid catalase suffers from poor storage stability. Baico Biotech BBT launches coated granular catalase CATANA® CA300G. Its coating shell protects enzyme protein against moisture and oxygen, achieving a 2-year shelf life at 27°C sealed storage. It removes residual hydrogen peroxide within 10 minutes under neutral conditions of 30–60°C for knitted and cotton fabrics, preventing dyeing defects and ensuring stable and uniform dyeing results.
